One-Skillet Taco Recipe
  • Everything you love about tacos in one skillet. This delicious one-dish taco recipe will make it a little easier if cooking a meal for a crowd!

Ingredients

  • Ortega Taco Shells
  • 2 Packets Taco Seasoning
  • Taco Sauce
  • 10 oz. Pinto Beans
  • 10 oz. Black Beans
  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Spanish Rice
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese
  • ½ Cup Cilantro
  • ¼ Cup Olives
  • ½ Cup Green Giant* Canned Niblets* Corn
  • 2 Tomatoes, Diced
  • 2 Jalapenos, Finely Diced
  • ½ Cup Guacamole
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream

Directions

  1. In a cast iron skillet, begin by heating 1T of oil over medium heat
  2. Add in the ground beef and Taco Seasoning, using a wooden spoon to break up the larger chunks
  3. Stir while cooking, 10 minutes total or until brown and juices run clear
  4. Add in pinto and black beans, cook for 3-5 minutes or until the beans are warmed through
  5. Remove from heat and add in black olives, corn, and rice
  6. Top with shredded cheese and cilantro
  7. Remind guests that the pan is hot while serving
